Among the important protagonists of the last edition of the Milan Design Week and Fuorisalone 2019, Audi has confirmed itself as a brand capable of perfectly blending entertainment, sustainability, and innovation. The German car brand, after having been a guest in the past years at the Torre Velasca and in Corso Venezia, has chosen the Arco della Pace in Piazza Sempione as its last location for the Audi City Lab. Here, the installation named e_Domesticity created by Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture from the studio Asymptote Architecture in New York, represented a revolutionary charging station, as well as an ideal stage for presenting to the audience the new electric car Audi PB18 e-tron, the first model fully electric by Audi.
The attendance recorded at the Audi City Lab during the Milan Design week exceeded 40.000 visitors, 5.000 only on the occasion of the magical performance of the maestro Ludovico Einaudi on the evening of April 9th. To complete the spectacular atmosphere of this place, our beautiful hostesses welcomed the numerous guests throughout the duration of the event. For events of this size, it is necessary to rely on a trained & experienced staff, able to fluently illustrate the technical features of the cars in different foreign languages, and that knows how to combine posture and elegance.
In addition to the many questions and curiosities about the cars, the hostesses were required to know about the sculptural work, as the main focus of the Milanese Design Week. The large steel rings that made it up were intended to unite and define the structure that could be accessed from several directions with staircases and ramps. The four circular and modular structures that recalled the symmetries of the Arco della Pace, were positioned behind the work.
It was a great honor for our agency to be able to participate with our models & hostesses girls in this magnificent Audi lab, where creativity, technology and above all sustainability, have made it a truly unique place for a week.
