The 49th edition of MIDO Eyewear Show - the international exhibition dedicated to eyewear - ended on February 25th after intense days of work for our staff of hostesses, committed to welcoming the numerous visitors of this edition to some of the booths present at Rho Fiera, Milan.
The largest trade fair in the world dedicated to eyewear has confirmed large numbers in this 2019 edition: about 59,500 presences and professional operators coming from 159 different countries, and the most important innovations in the sector have been revealed, as well as hosting seminars, meetings. and product launches.
This is a particularly dynamic sector, where innovation and design play a leading role, and where brands eagerly await this Milan appointment also to dare and play a bit with the audience. Just think of the brand's booths where our amazing hostesses welcomed and received international guests and professionals during the MIDO trade show.
L' Amy Italia has amazed the attendees with its clear and colored lenses of the Made In Italia sunglasses series, but also with its summerish booth, where our hostesses played perfectly the role of "lifeguards". Yes, because the Baywatch series might be also a distant memory from the 90s, but a group of beautiful girls wearing something red, represent a fine referral to the California coast. Fortunately, the hostesses didn't have to save anyone this time!

In the other booth where our hostesses worked intensively for the 3 days of the fair, Mondottica launched the Spring / Summer 2019 collection inspired by few legendary movies of the past, such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and James Bond, recreating a real theater entrance, and making it even more authentic with original wooden chairs and a red carpet. These movies were not randomly chosen, but all had in common pair of sunglasses used by the iconic actors during the scenes, that became iconic.
Our agency is looking forward to participating with our fabulous hostess team at the next edition of the MIDO Eyewear Show in 2020, which will mark the special milestone of the 50th anniversary of the exhibition. We are sure that many surprises and special events will await us that will involve the whole sector: companies, opticians, buyers, media and institutions, to celebrate the golden edition with class.
