The 48th edition of the MIDO trade fair - the most important global event dedicated to eyewear - had started off with great expectations, and this year has confirmed them with more than 58,000 visitors from all over the world. MIDO has proved to be even more extensive and full of opportunities and special events.
The main theme of this year has been innovation - including the many materials such as titanium and carbon - and if we talk about hi-tech solutions and advanced materials, we could not consider a brand like Italia Independent, confirming that the Made in Italy finds in the eyewear sector a leading pillar of the internationalization of Italian excellence.
The solid collaboration between Italia Independent and our hostess and model agency has strengthened during this edition of the exhibition, thanks to the beautiful hostesses who have welcomed the visitors to the booth located in Pavilion 1. The CEO of Italia Independent Italy declared that this has been "An exceptional Mido edition, for the quantity and quality of products & projects that we are going to unveil.We present a collection with a positioning able to cover all market segments and the needs of the most sophisticated client, together with a series of cross-cutting activities that show Italy Independent's commitment on various fronts, reflecting the ambitious challenge the brand pursues to relaunch an innovative business model".
The fair was also the occasion for the definitive launch of the SS18 communication campaign #EveryONE, where it is urged to celebrate diversity, as a form of enrichment and beauty in all its forms and facets, whether they are racial, sexual, religious or political.
Our beautiful hostesses who worked at the booth, have in fact worn the T-Shirt with the name of the campaign on it, definitely a more comfortable and casual uniform than the usual institutional talleur! But you know, Italia Independent is a brand that likes to think outside the usual schemes, and this is why our staff of hostesses and models is perfect to express its values.
The real protagonists of the fair were, of course, the glasses. Like the world premiere launch with Rossignol, the new P / E 2018 adidas Originals eyewear collection, the fourth limited edition created in collaboration with Hublot, and the exclusive collection that wants to celebrate Garage Italia.
